Jack the Radio, celebrates 5+ years from the release of their debut album, Pretty Money, by reprising the title track with a new recording and music video, and a limited batch of the Pretty Money Baltic Porter brewed in collaboration with Trophy Brewing Company in Raleigh, North Carolina. The song addresses themes of troubled times, worry, fear, and the struggle to protect and overcome. A fitting soundtrack to our current status quo. The band blends roots-rock with a touch of blues with a groove driven stomp.

Jack the Radio’s new album Badlands stretches outside the Raleigh band’s Americana comfort zone. The album's musical recipe is one half blues-rock and the other half experimental synthesizers.
Host Frank Stasio talks with the band about it’s new “cosmic country” album and marketing music in the modern age. Jack the Radio is: George Hage on acoustic guitar and vocals, A.C. Hill on acoustic guitar and vocals, Chris Sayles on hand percussion and vocals, and Danny Johnson on dobro and vocals.

North Carolina indie-roots-rockers Jack the Radio made an appearance on My Carolina Today's morning show to talk about the new album, album release show at Lincoln Theater October 16th, brewing the Badlands beer with Mystery and to play an acoustic number and promote their album release show at the .
The release party proceeds will benefit Band Together & KidzNotes.

"City Slippin" is off the bands forthcoming LP, Badlands, which will be released October 20th
We will release our first studio album in over three years on October 20th, 2015. The album, entitled Badlands, features twelve songs with amazing guest vocals from Elizabeth Hopkins (courtesy of Warner Bros. Records) and BJ Barham of American Aquarium.

Needless to say I am excited, nervous, scared and ready to share "Badlands" with you in a few weeks. This will be a special day for us and I truly hope you can join us for the album release party.
