On Air: The State Of Things - Jack The Radio Explores The 'Badlands'

Jack the Radio live on the State of Things

Jack the Radio’s new album Badlands stretches outside the Raleigh band’s Americana comfort zone. The album's musical recipe is one half blues-rock and the other half experimental synthesizers.

Jack the Radio @ The State Of Things w/ Frank Stasio

Host Frank Stasio talks with the band about it’s new “cosmic country” album and marketing music in the modern age. Jack the Radio is: George Hage on acoustic guitar and vocals, A.C. Hill on acoustic guitar and vocals, Chris Sayles on hand percussion and vocals, and Danny Johnson on dobro and vocals.

Jack the Radio plays at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on Friday, October 16 at 9 p.m. and Mystery Brewing Company's Public House in Hillsborough on Saturday, October 17 at 8:30 p.m.

Hey friends,

We are a month away from Jack the Radio's album release party on Friday, 10.16.2015 at Lincoln TheatreThis album has been one of the biggest endeavors I have ever taken on and has taken JTR crew and I over three years to put together.

Needless to say I am excited, nervous, scared and ready to share "Badlands" with you in a few weeks. This will be a special day for us and I truly hope you can join us for the album release party.

We have put together a solid line up for the show withCaleb Caudle and new boys (but with familiar faces),Young Yonder opening. And we have teamed up withBand Together to promote the show and help raise money through a portion of ticket sales for charity.

I seriously can't wait for you to see the vinyl packaging and custom vinyl colors, new videos, new shirts, new poster, and other merch we will have at the show. We have been very fortunate to team up with some truly talented artists, videographers, photographers and musicians for the release.
